*If the member’s Blue Shield of California’s plan provides access to mental health services through the Mental Health Service Administrator (MHSA), the member can visit behavioral health providers in the MHSA network for in-network services.
Some Blue Shield of California members may only have access to Blue Shield’s direct network for in-network behavioral health services. If you are not sure which network provides in-network behavioral health services for your patient, you can find out by calling the Mental Health Customer Services phone number on the back of your patient’s member ID card.
